A Night of Triumphs and Lessons Learned

All in all, a good night at the track. Started p8 in the feature and worked up to p4. Then a late caution came out with only two laps to go. Unfortunately the tires were so greasy on the restart, but just couldn’t hold on and fell back to finish p6.

Not bad for being away for two years and setting the fastest lap of the night.

We learned quite a bit, like I’m getting old and need to work on some cardio. But we also learned a lot with the car. Thanks so much to my guys, Dan Leonard, Dan Bugg, Lew Cole, and Ray Eveland. Also a big thanks to Danny Benedict for the help tonight too. I mean, he might know a little bit about this car, lol.

Thanks to all my sponsors, new and old, for jumping on board this year. It’s going to be a great year.

And the biggest thanks of all goes to my wife, Janet Adriaensen, for being extremely supportive and being behind me throughout the whole journey back.
